The following are standard features included in our deck framing systems. Treated lumber is preferred for beams because of its weather resistant qualities and assures long deck life.

Handrail Options:

Handrails are available in treated wood, S4S smooth cedar, rough-sawn cedar, and man-made composite materials in a variety of colors. Handrails can be designed using different combinations of materials for a custom look.

-2′ x 2′ pickets @ 4′ on center (building code safety requirement)
-Galvanized Steel wire 4′ x 4′ screen in wood frame ( enhances unrestricted views)

Deck Surface Options:
We use hidden fasteners whenever possible to create a beautiful, screw-free deck surface and to avoid screw pockets that attract and hold water.

Stairs, Elevation changes, Landings, Planters, Bench, Lightning Options:

Stairs can be built as wide as desired, elevation changes can be designed into the main deck, and landings can be built to rest during long climbs or to switch directions. Planters and benches can be designed using different combinations of materials for a custom look and will help create separate areas and interesting design elements. Lighting can be used to extend the hours of enjoyment, to enhance safety, and create moods.
